    Weight Management

You might think that your metabolism is out of your control and it just is the way it is. But this isn’t entirely true. If you’re someone who suffers from a slower metabolism, this can affect energy levels, weight management, and even on a more day to day basis, your mood.

Reakiro’s new Metabolism Boost capsules harness the natural power of CBD and other essential natural ingredients to invigorate your metabolism by interacting with the mitochondria, fat, and insulin. For best results, we would encourage taking these capsules every day for consistent levels to be established in the body.

Weight management with Reakiro`s Metabolism Boost CBD capsules - the source of biotin and riboflavin, that contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism; source of biotin, pantothenic acid, and niacin, that contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism; source of pantothenic acid, that contributes to normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D, and some neurotransmitters.

Reakiro Metabolism Boost Capsules are formulated with:

    • Our premium quality CBD extract: CBD’s effect on balancing and maintaining normal levels of homeostasis, alongside its potential to stabilise insulin levels, are both instrumental in the process of boosting metabolism

    • Bitter-Orange: used in natural medicines around the world for indigestion, nausea, constipation, heartburn, and weight loss

    • Riboflavin (Vitamin B2): an antioxidant which helps metabolise glucose and support the production of healthy red blood cells

    • Grapefruit seed extract: this extract can help control symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

    • Artichoke (Chlorogenic Acid): this green vegetable has properties that stimulate the digestion of fats and helps in the reduction of bad cholesterol

    • Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5): an essential nutrient for fatty acid metabolism and synthesising and metabolising proteins, carbohydrates, and fats

    • Folic Acid (Vitamin B9): helps the body make healthy red blood cells

    • Biotin (Vitamin B8): an important part of enzymes in the body that break down substances including fats and carbohydrates

    • Niacin (Vitamin B3): turns your food into energy and helps keep your nervous system, digestive system and skin healthy

Reakiro’s CBD Metabolism Boost Capsules combine premium CBD extract with additional natural metabolism-boosting ingredients, these include vitamin B5 (sometimes referred to as pantothenic acid) and four more vitamins found to promote a healthy system. FAQ

    Why is metabolism different?

Everyone’s metabolism is different, it’s something we’re born with and it can dictate our body chemistry and how we approach our diet and exercise - amongst many other things. Two people can eat exactly the same foods and do the exact same amount of exercise, but more often than not their metabolism will perform differently. This can be frustrating for some as it may seem that the speed and efficiency of your metabolism is out of your control. But it doesn’t have to be this way. You can take control, naturally, with Metabolism Boost Capsules with CBD.

How does CBD affect your metabolism?

The relationship between CBD and your metabolism ultimately comes down to what is known as the endocannabinoid system. This is a system of receptors (CB1 and CB2) receptors located throughout our bodies, when cannabinoids enter our systems they communicate and interact with our bodily functions through these receptors. The endocannabinoid system influences a wide range of our physiological processes, including mood, energy levels, and inflammation. A study from 2008 reported that the endocannabinoid system was shown to control several metabolic functions [1].

There are four ways in which CBD can affect or control our metabolism:
    1. Mitochondria. Mitochondria are often referred to as the powerhouse of the cell, you could say its energy processor. It works to convert sugar, fat, and protein into energy that sustains us through the day. If we have an imbalance in our mitochondrial functions, this will affect the way that we process and burn energy - consequently affecting how we gain and lose weight. Ensuring that everything is balanced and functioning normally is key to a healthy metabolism. CBD can aid in the regulation of mitochondrial activity and ensuring a normal metabolic balanced, this is connected to CBD’s effect on homeostasis - the state of steady internal, physical, and chemical conditions.

    2. Fat. All too often we consider fat an inherently bad thing, but fat is both figuratively and scientifically more complex than that. There are two kinds of fat in the body, brown fat (which is considered to be good) and white fat (which is considered to be bad). White fat stores energy in large oily droplets in our bodies, and in large qualities this can lead to excess body fat and even obesity. Evidently, white fat can really disrupt our metabolism. On the other hand, brown fat consists of smaller droplets and high amounts of mitochondria. A study carried out in 2016 [2] showed that CBD can aid and encourage the conversion of white fat into brown fat, which shows great promise for the use of CBD to boost metabolism and to assist weight management.

    3. Insulin. One of the liver’s key functions is to filter out toxins and convert excess sugars into insulin. Sugar can be found in pretty much everything we put in our bodies, obviously, some products will be higher in sugar intake like fizzy drinks and doughy carbohydrates, but there is also a surprising amount of sugar in products like beer, low-fat yogurt, and ready-made soup. Once the liver has converted the sugars into insulin, it passes it on to the pancreas. Having irregular insulin levels will have an effect on the body and if we have too much insulin in the bloodstream we are unable to burn fat. In this scenario, losing weight is significantly more difficult. A preclinical study, carried out on animal models, found that CBD has the potential to stabilise insulin levels [3] – which could be crucial in maintaining a healthy weight and a healthy metabolism.

    4. Appetite. While many people may connect using marijuana recreationally with putting on weight, this is not the case for all of the chemical components of the cannabis plant. Here’s why using marijuana can cause you to put on weight; the cannabinoid called THC (tetrahydrocannabidiol) is what triggers ‘munchies’ the state of feeling unstoppingly hungry. When people hit this state they will binge-eat (generally fast food and sweet treats), obviously doing this once or twice won't have grave effects, but if it starts to become a regular occurrence it definitely will. This is not the case for CBD. And in an animal study carried out in 2012 by the School of Pharmacy at the University of Reading, it appeared that CBD did in fact operate as an appetite suppressant [4], lowering the quantity of food consumption.
